This is the hard to find late war model German stick grenade. If you are looking for this version for display on your late WWII mannequin or equipment layout, I need not go too far into description....let the photos speak for themselves!
Unlike the standard M24 stick grenade, the M43 version has the pull ignitor on top of the can. This grenade is inert. Nicely marked in various locations (see pics). The can and late type frag sleeve are both in original Dunkelgelb (dark yellow) paint. One of the three retaining clips for the outer ring is missing...but does not detract from display. The stick is nicer condition than the grenade itself and is either a replacement NOS stick (dated 1944) or an extremely nice repro. Either way...a beautiful example of the rare and hard to find M43 stick grenade.
