JAPANESE KANEKUNI GUNTO SWORD
Here is a Japanese Showa-to of Kanekuni 関小川兼国. It contains a Showa stamp in a cherry blossom indicating it was made after 1940. The handle has the name Hori Makoto which is quite unique. The Seppa (the disks on the Tsuba) is quite numerous and potential of a battlefield repair. The loop (Sarunote [Monkey's hand]) is also privately made with two hands holding each other.
The tsuba is a private purchase see through finish as well.
Located in our Kirkland showroom, shipping included in the United States.
